Minimum Qualifications:

Have experience working as an outside sales
Be able to speak, read and write business level English
Must have a valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

Speak, Read, Write in Japanese
Experience in the multicultural environment
Experience or knowledge in the logistics/ transportation industry

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Responsible for monitoring and managing the marketing and sales of certain products within a given geographic region.
Manage assigned accounts within a specific territory.
Prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers within a specific territory.
Achieve the Office’s revenue and profitability quotas for Yamato’s products as they are sold into all customer segments within the Office territory.
Establish an environment and foundation for future sales growth.
Sell and teach others how to sell value and solutions to Yamato’s customers.
Direct the selling activities within the office, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.
Responsible for the Office’s forecasting and sales tracking. Prepare sales reports.
Set the vision for the Office and develop and adhere to a business plan to attain this vision.
Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of office sales and profitability. Disseminate information to sales representatives, corporate marketing and sales operations.
Special projects as assigned.
Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship.
Secure and place orders.
