Yamato Transport USA is seeking creative Sales Account Associates and/or Sales Account Managers for our Midwest Region with experience in International Trading Business.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, creative, and analytical with strategic talents who is passionate about the future of global logistics and has a strong desire to nurture beneficial relationships with corporate customers which engage in various types of manufacturing and distribution.

If you enjoy solving the problems of customers in the supply chain and logistics industries, have the entrepreneurial courage to implement big ideas, and enjoy developing and cultivating new relationships, then this position is for you. Travel is expected as you proactively seek out opportunities to advance the sales growth initiatives of Yamato’s operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written skills to persuasively communicate complex issues simply to customers and within the Yamato group globally.
Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow.
Passion for big challenges and must have a good sense of humor.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Direct selling and calling on prospective customers, identifying customer needs, establishing buying and selling cycles, preparing sales reports, including tracking and forecasting.
Securing and placing orders.
Managing and monitoring marketing and sales activities.
Evaluating market trends and developing strategic plans to match sales activities with trends.
Support the strategic objectives and interest of Yamato’s business team on a global basis.
