1) Upload Documents other than Besso Customs declaration form

In principle, eligibility for Besso requires a stay in the United States or Canada of at least 12 continuous months immediately prior to departure.
Please follow the instructions in the email sent after completing your online shipping entry to upload copies of the required documents listed below.

[Customers with Japanese Nationality (Visa Holders)]

1. Passport (Photo page)
2. Visa (A U.S. or Canadian visa valid for at least one year covering the period up to your date of return to Japan)
3. Departure Stamp from Japan OR Entry Stamp into the U.S.
   (If no physical stamp was issued, please provide your U.S. Arrival/Departure Record [Form I-94])
4. Airline E-Ticket
   (Showing your return flight departing the U.S./Canada and arriving in Japan, including any layovers)
5. Purchase Receipts (Required if shipping brand-new items)

[Customers with Japanese Nationality (Permanent Residents / Green Card Holders)]

1. Passport (Photo page)
2. Green Card (Permanent Resident Card)
3. Proof of U.S. Residence
   Documents verifying your stay for the past 12 months up to your date of return
   (e.g., employment verification, enrollment/attendance certificate, residential lease agreement, utility bills).

4. Airline E-Ticket
   (Showing your return flight departing the U.S./Canada and arriving in Japan, including any layovers)
5. Purchase Receipts (Required if shipping brand-new items)

[Customers with Japanese Nationality (ESTA / Short-Term Visitors)]

6. Shipping Allowance: Maximum of 3 boxes (up to 50 kg in total)
7. Maximum Declared Value: Up to 500,000 JPY (Total for new items must not exceed 200,000 JPY)

2) Write down 2 Customs declaration sheets before entry into Japan.

3) Hand in the 2 completed sheets to the customs officer and get the stamps
